History Of The Club
Founded in 2001, The Excaliburs Cricket Club(ECC) is one of the oldest clubs in the city devoted to playing cricket. The Club was formed by a group of young men of Indian Origin who have been playing the game of cricket for years. With the wish to continue to play together, they formed The Club to promote this game in a country where majority are unaware of the game.
In 2007, The Excaliburs Cricket Club(ECC) signed a deal with another club and started sharing their ground and utilizing their facilities. In 2008, ECC have a "home ground" in Pflugerville, Texas. Shortly after gaining popularity and adding around 35 members to its squad, the club laid down two teams "ECC Knights" and "ECC Warriors". The Club was recognized as the fastest growing club in the Texas region by the Central Texas cricket league(CTCL) which is the central regulating authority for cricket in the Texas region.
